After Meher Baba’s passing, an image of his face appeared on a tree outside Mehera and Mani’s room in Meherazad. The image, which seemed to be sculpted by an invisible hand, comforted Mehera and reassured Mani that Baba was still present. Over time, the image changed, with the bark shifting and a shadow of a crown appearing, leaving Mani and Mehera in awe of the phenomenon.

Mani recounts a story about his mother bringing a set of new clothes for Baba’s birthday, but initially forgetting the red velvet cap. When she returned to fetch it, she found the cap and three rupees next to it, leading her to realize Baba’s uniqueness. Later, during the New Life, Baba gave the women turbans, tying one on Mani’s head, which Mani later interpreted as a symbolic gesture of responsibility.
