Filis Frederick recounts her experiences with Meher Baba, highlighting the profound impact He had on those around Him. She describes how Baba’s presence seemed to coincide with significant global events, such as the Suez Crisis and the Cuban Missile Crisis. Filis emphasizes the transformative power of Baba’s energy, noting how He would often take on the burdens of the world, leaving His followers feeling both physically and spiritually drained. Meher Baba, believed by some to be God in h human form, had a unique way of guiding His followers. He would subtly address their individual shortcomings, often using situations and interactions with others to help them confront and overcome their egos. This approach, exemplified by the author’s experience with jealousy and a thwarted publishing project, demonstrated Baba’s profound understanding of human nature and His desire to help his devotees progress spiritually.
