Shortly after Meher Baba’s passing, His face appeared on the trunk of a sacred Audumbara tree, drawing crowds of visitors to Meherazad. Eruch, tasked with showing the face to visitors, discovered a screenplay Baba had inspired in the 1930s titled “This Man David.” The play, about a teacher who comes to a village to awaken its people, features a scene where the teacher’s face appears on a tree thirty years after his death.

Baba advises against seeking him, as he is not lost. Instead, he suggests becoming the sought, living in a way that draws him to you.

A young couple, both animal lovers, bought a parrot that repeatedly said “Avatar Meher Baba.” Curious about the phrase, they researched and discovered Meher Baba, eventually visiting Meherazad. The parrot, unknowingly, led them to their spiritual search and to Meher Baba.

A Perfect Master, after becoming enlightened, realized that God had sought, remembered, known, and loved him long before he had sought, remembered, known, or loved God. This realization highlights the divine initiative in the seeker-God relationship.

A gong, used for emergencies, was struck on January 31, 1969, when Meher Baba passed away. After Baba’s passing, the gong fell silent, and attempts to ring it failed. The gong was later broken and repaired, but it remained silent, symbolizing the end of an era.

The original Guruprasad palace, once dedicated to Baba, was demolished and replaced with a new structure. However, a memorial hall was created in Poona using materials from Baba’s room in the original palace.

A jeweler and a conman, both traveling to the same city, meet on the road. The conman, unable to find the jeweler’s hidden valuables, learns the jeweler had hidden them in the conman’s satchel. The jeweller uses this as a metaphor, explaining that the “precious gem” is within the conman’s own heart, not something to be found externally.

During Mohammed’s time, a platform was built for Him to rest on during prayers, similar to how Baba pray with His followers and hold His hands in a prayerful fashion. When a nearby palm tree, which Mohammed used to lean against, fell unexpectedly, he explained that it felt it was no longer needed and had died.

A cat named Pegu repeatedly visited Meher Baba at Guruprasad, despite its owner’s attempts to keep it at home. The owner, moved by the Mandali’s kindness, began bringing food for them and eventually learned about Baba. After Baba’s passing in 1969, Pegu continued to live at Guruprasad until it was tragically killed by a car.
