After the battle of Mahabharata, Arjuna’s ego swells, prompting Krishna to teach him a lesson. Disguised as mendicants, they encounter a naked, sword-wielding man searching for dry grass. The man reveals his sword is for those who claim to love Krishna but cause Him pain, citing Radha and Arjuna as examples.

Meher Baba, who loved cricket and excelled as a wicket-keeper, was once challenged by a Muslim cricket captain to a match. The captain promised to quit cricket if Baba stumped him out, which he did. Years later, the captain, now a trustee of a shrine, wrote to Baba for help with donations, which Baba fulfilled through his followers.

During Baba’s New Life, a period of intentional hardship and travel, Eruch encountered frequent police interrogations. Seeking to alleviate this, Eruch visited the highest police authority in Hyderabad, the D.G.P., to explain their situation as pilgrims and request an end to the harassment. Despite initial resistance due to his appearance, Eruch’s persistence and insistence on speaking directly to the D.G.P. led to a meeting where he explained their peaceful pilgrimage. Eruch recounts an encounter with a police officer named Reddy during Meher Baba’s pilgrimage. Reddy, a former school friend of Baba, recognized Eruch and offered him hospitality, including food and a framed photo of Baba. Eruch later recounted the incident to Baba, who remembered Reddy and spoke fondly of him.

Faith is defined as believing in what we cannot see, with the reward being the eventual realization of that belief. To cultivate faith, one must accept and trust, even in the face of uncertainty or the unknown. This acceptance is exemplified by the act of flying, where passengers place their trust in the plane and pilot despite the inherent risks.

Meher Baba reminisced about his childhood friend, Ludwig Vegas, and expressed a desire to see him. Baba’s brother, Jal, later encountered Vegas and invited him to meet Baba. After their reunion, Vegas wrote a letter expressing his gratitude and recalling their joyous shared school days.

Eruch recounts a pivotal moment in his life when Meher Baba asked him to leave everything behind and join Him. Despite his initial reluctance, Eruch, along with his family, followed Baba’s command. During New Life, a grueling journey with Baba, Eruch experienced physical and mental exhaustion, culminating in a significant event where Baba completed His work of Manonash, the annihilation of the mind. Meher Baba instructed Eruch to accompany Him to the United States in 1952, but Eruch refused, feeling unworthy. After a series of exchanges, Baba ordered Eruch to leave, prompting Eruch to realize his true identity was not his own. Baba then tasked Eruch with traveling across India to spread His message of love, despite Eruch’s concerns about his speaking abilities.

Radha, a devoted milkmaid, loved Lord Krishna deeply, causing jealousy among other women. Despite her family life, Radha visited Krishna, who was overjoyed and eagerly anticipated her arrival. One night, after drinking a hot cup of milk meant for Krishna, Radha experienced blisters on her feet, which Krishna revealed were caused by his own feet being embedded in her heart, absorbing the heat to protect her.
