Meher Baba predicted a spiritual revolution in America, where the country would lead the world spiritually, following a period of turmoil. This awakening would be characterized by a general revival of love for God, transcending specific religious labels. Baba emphasized that this spiritual upliftment was imminent and that America, despite its current material focus, possessed the potential for this transformation. Awakening is love for God in the form of the God-Man, not necessarily for the form of Jesus. After a calamity, there will be a revival of love for Baba, but the timing is uncertain. Baba’s message is universal, not specific to the West or East, and emphasizes love, surrender, and the realization of one’s inherent divinity. Eruch advises a pilgrim to expand their understanding of Baba by remembering Him in everyday actions, such as caring for their children. He emphasizes that true knowledge of Baba comes from becoming one with Him, a process that requires patience and grace. Eruch shares a story about a visit to a temple in Mathura, where he had to convince the authorities to allow a group of women, led by Baba, to visit without male escorts. In 1939-40, Eruch arranged for a group of women to visit a temple in Mathura, guided by an eleven-year-old boy. Despite Eruch’s instructions, a priest followed the group, prompting Baba to physically remove him from the temple. Baba later reprimanded the priest for his behavior, expressing disapproval of his curiosity about the women.
