1. Baba as the Way and the Goal, Part 1
-
Darwin Shaw shares his experiences with Meher Baba, emphasizing Baba’s role as the Avatar and the embodiment of divine love. He describes how Baba bypasses the intellect, directly impacting the heart and revealing the inner truth of divine love and completeness. Shaw highlights Baba’s ability to restore wholeness and the transformative power of loving Him, ultimately leading to spiritual awakening and a deeper understanding of one’s true nature.
-
Baba, as the embodiment of divine consciousness, helps individuals evolve by working on their inner selves and eliminating ego. He guides people through their daily lives, using challenges and relationships as opportunities for growth and self-discovery. Despite the lack of a structured path or external validation, Baba’s love and acceptance empower individuals to find inner tranquility and a deeper sense of self.
-
Surrendering everything to Baba, including pleasures, pains, and successes, is a path to inner freedom and experiencing His love. Baba’s grace can remove obstacles and provide glimpses of liberation, encouraging us to let go of the false self and embrace the true self. By continuously loving Baba, like a stream flowing to the ocean, we can overcome doubts and self-complacency, ultimately reaching Him, the ocean of love.
